As stated I have been around horses all my life. It is a passion of mine to sell winning horses to new owners. The best horse I have ever sold was a horse called Lashed. Lashed was a wonderful money earner. She had 37 starts for 7 wins; 5 seconds and 7 thirds, ( Earning $928358 total in Prizemoney ) including winning a Group 4 and 3 as a 2 year old in South Australia; 1st in a Group 2 at Flemington; 4th in a Group 1 at Caulfield and 2nd in a Group 1 at Flemington as a 3 year old. Best of all she won 3 Group 1's as a 4 year old in New Zealand. She is now a triple group 1 winner.
I have always dreamed of selling a Melbourne Cup winner and in 2004 Lashed had her chance, only to run 18th out of 24 runners, but I was so proud to think she made the field.
Lashed is by the exciting Sire - Encosta De Lago and boy has he taken Australia to a new level. People have commented on how he is now one of the next Super Sire's along side Danehill, who is unfortunately now deceased. When I sold Lashed as a 2 year old she had only run 6th at Sale and 5th at Echuca in maiden races.
Hi, my name is Neil Brockington and I am the Bloodstock Agent for A Trojan Bloodstock. I am 54 years old and have loved horses since I was a young boy. I was always fascinated with how big and beautiful they were, especially Racehorses and I would often go horse riding with my brothers and go to the races with my mother in Townsville, Brisbane & Darwin. When I was 11 years old I became a strapper for a trainer in Darwin – Shane Clarke. I have kept a close relationship with Shane and his wife Elizabeth (Liz) throughout my life.
Although I was not brought up in a racehorse family, my Uncle Tom Hamilton trained and owned several racehorses and worked at Eagle Farm throughout his life as a Carpenter as well. I also worked at Eagle Farm as a part-time security person, looking after the horses as they checked in for race day. Through this I met many trainers and became very interested in selling these fine animals.
Twelve years ago I started selling racehorses from Brisbane, NSW and Victoria, to Townsville, Country Queensland, Alice Springs and Darwin. Although I did this mainly as a hobby I got to know the industry very well. I would also sell some of these horses to the Darwin Turf Club and receive a free holiday to the Darwin Cup for my services. Through this I associated with many affiliated trainers and owners. I now know that I am ready to take on this role as a Bloodstock Agent professionally and I feel I can pass on my wealth of knowledge and experience gained since I was a young boy.

She was up for sale at $30,000 and most people thought there was something wrong with her or she was just a dud. Lashed made these people eat their words as she won close to a million dollars and God knows how much she is worth now, as a mare at stud.
Lashed has had a foal to the champion sire Zabeel at New Zealand's Cambridge Stud. Zabeel had a stud fee of $95 000 plus GST. Zabeel sired the Caufield Cup Trifecta in 1999 and sired the Melbourne Cup Quinella in 1998. Maybe my dream might come true with Lashed's foal winning the Melbourne Cup one day. Zabeel has sired 32 individual group one winners plus 90 stakes winners. He has won the Champion Australian Sires Award twice and the champion New Zealand Sires Award four times.
It goes to show that even tried horses for sale can go all the way. Sometimes horses need more time to show their worth or there is a secret to what makes them click and no one has found it yet. Whatever the case maybe I will personally do my very best to sell you a sound winning horse. I was once told by a very wise person that "every horse is for sale at the right price". So if you leave details of what sort of horse you want, with a realistic amount of money you would like to spend, I will ask trainers and owners of horses that fit your criteria to consider the offer, even though their horse isn't officially for sale.
To Whom It May Concern:
I have known Neil Brockington since he was ten years old when he used to be my stable hand and strapper.
I have found Neil to be honest and sincere with everything he does including being a Bloodstock Agent. Over the last seven years I have owned and trained horses through Neil's dealings with myself, including Perfect Peace, who won numerous times (including The Pine Creek Cup); Burn the Deck, who also won many races, plus many more.
I have only the utmost praise for the way Neil has handled all negotiations including keeping me updated with all new horses for sale. I wish Neil all the very best for the future in his Bloodstock work and because I know his love for horses, I know that he won't let you down.

I have known Neil Brockington for 5 years. Any dealings I have had with Neil, either buying or selling, I have always found him to be honest and obliging.
A Huge Congratulations to Gerald Ryan on his Magnificent training Performance at Rosehill with Animando. 5th win since sold & scored with one leg in the air by 1.8 Length's over the 1200m Distance 70k Race. Sat back in the field to pull out wide in the straight & score easily going away at the end. An Excellent ride by "Tommy Berry" who showed plenty of patience & skill. A Huge Congrats to "Steven Pynt" who owns half the Horse with Gerald & I can only say how proud I am to be a part of what has been an Amazing Journey all round with this "Animando" having had Hoof problems & to see him score in Town on a Saturday is Simply an Unbelievable Sight. Well done Steven & you have shown Great patience yourself with this fellow as it is certainly starting to pay off & looks to have a few more wins in store after that great effort against a top quality field. So Congrats to everyone involved & this Victory also brought up a Memorable Win for "A Trojan Bloodstock" as it was my 1st Win at Rosehill on a Saturday.
Success at Rosehill Gardens
It's hard to explain how nice it is to get a Winner at Rosehill on a Saturday & I hope there is a few more to come yet but I will cherish this moment along with Steven for Eternity. Well done Mate. Yehaa!!! Wow!!! Cheers!!!
Shane has taught me almost everything I know about Racehorses, including what to look for in a horse and how much they are worth. I consider Shane a ‘Horse Whisperer’. Shane is still training in Darwin and I respect him and his wealth of knowledge very much.
In September 2013 At Randwick Racecourse mixing it with all of my Favourite Trainers that I have met officially now & looking forward to many more Quality Gallopers to place on my Website for Sale in the Future ahead :) Cheers!!!
